Terms and Conditions
Pre-tax annual salary: RMB 180,000.
The university will assist with the rental housing process; the tenant shall bear the rent.
The appointee shall purchase commercial medical insurance at their own expense.
Requirements for English Language Teaching Position
1.Abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and the rules and regulations of South China Normal University.
2.Be a native English speaker; hold a passport of the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, Ireland or New Zealand.
3.Hold a master's degree or above; majors in humanities and social sciences are preferred.
4.Possess a TESOL or TESL certificate.
5.Candidates with university teaching experience are preferred.
Requirements for French Language Teaching Position
1.Abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and the rules and regulations of South China Normal University.
2.Hold a master's degree in French as a Foreign Language (candidates with other majors will also be considered).
3.Have relevant teaching experience in French as a Foreign Language.
4.Be a native French speaker; French nationals are preferred, and teachers from other French-speaking countries are also welcome to apply.
5.Candidates with the following qualifications are preferred:
(1) Familiar with the Neurolinguistic Approach (NLA) to language teaching.
(2) Have research experience, and hold or are pursuing a doctoral degree.
Job Responsibilities
1.Undertake 12 class hours of language teaching per week for all curriculum programs.
2.Tutor undergraduate graduation theses and internships.
3.Participate in the work of course teams, including teaching meetings, development of teaching resources and curriculum construction.
4.Participate in various cultural and international cooperation projects.
